Never Let Me Go is the sixth novel of the famous Japanese British writer Kazuo Ishiguro. Applying the limited perspective of the clone Kathy H., this work penetrates into the inner world of the clone race to examine their human life experience, revealing the paradoxical system of Hailsham and the hidden construction of social hegemony. Following the step of Kathy H.'s memory in perceiving the world, Ishiguro establishes the equal footing between the reader and the character, which subverts the systematical hegemony and conspiracy of human race. He impels us to reflect upon the essence of ourselves and our society, in the hope of creating a brand new world of tolerance and goodness where multiple cultures will harmoniously coexist.
