摘要
近年来国家实施的支持农村教师队伍建设的政策改善了农村教师队伍的状况。但农村教师对农村文化的认同度较低以及服务农村教育信念不够坚定的问题仍存在。研究表明,在熟人社会向陌生人社会转型过程中,农村小学教师与农村社会文化之间的关系发生了深刻变革,农村小学教师角色从熟人成为农村社区的陌生人。通过对比可以发现:农村教师在工作之外的交往领域中扮演社区的熟人角色,有助于沟通教师和社区民众的关系,有助于加强教师与乡土文化之间的联系,有利于开展教育工作。从熟人向陌生人的角色转变,影响到农村小学教师的社会地位及其对学生的教育实质和教育效果。
China has implemented a series of special policies to improve the ranks of rural school teachers in recent years.However,such a problem remains unsolved that there is a weak sense of identity with the local culture among the teachers in rural areas,who lack a strong determination to serve the course of rural education.Our field work conducted in H primary school in the northern part of Jiangsu province indicates that the relationship between rural primary school teachers and the rural culture has undergone substantial changes when the rural communities have been transformed from a society of acquaintances to a society of strangers.Those teachers,who used to be the acquaintances of the rural communities,are now strangers to them.Our research has also found that: if the teachers play the role of acquaintance in their interactions with the local communities after class,it is quite easy for them to develop a good relationship with the local residents,which will help strengthen their ties with the local culture and facilitate their education work.The role change from acquaintance to stranger has significant consequences on the social status of rural primary school teachers and the essence and effect of rural education.
