Structural Inspection and Safety Analysis of a Cooling Tower

摘要 通过对某冷却塔进行检测,得出了混凝土强度、沉降、倾斜、外观腐蚀破坏情况等现场实际情况,运用大型通用设计软件ANSYS建立了有限元模型,结合当地气象资料,模拟得出其在重力、风荷载作用下结构响应;并以结构响应的最大部位与现场检测的实际情况进行比较,分析了其安全性。软件模拟结果的危险部位与现场检测人字柱损伤部位状况较为一致。所得结果对相关冷却塔设计与安全评估有一定参考意义。 A concrete cooling tower was inspected,and some conclusions about concrete strength,settlement, inclination and corrosion were drawed in this article. Then, the structural response of the cooling tower was analyzed by ANSYS code under the action of gravity and wind load. Calculation results of finite element models were compared with field survey condition, to analyze the safety of the cooling tower. The dangerous parts revealed by calculation results is basically same as the herringbone corrosion parts showed by the situation on the ground. The conclusion is highly significant to the designing and safety assessment of cooling tower.
