摘要
结合考虑国内用户情况,组建了用于MCNP5并行计算的基于PVM的实用小型Windows集群并总结出了完整的解决方案。在此基础上,针对铅、水复合层对γ射线的屏蔽能力的计算实例进行了集群和其它类型计算系统的对比计算,结果显示该方案具有组建方式灵活、费用低廉、管理简单方便等特点,可以满足大部分用户对计算能力的需求。
Combined with the conditions of the domestic users, A practical small-scaled Windows PC cluster based on PVM for MCNP5 parallel computation was constructed, and the relevant complete solution was also summarized. Based on such work, An instance relating the shielding ability of Pb and water compound layer to γ-radiation energy was given for the comparative between the PC cluster and some other computing systems, The results show that the cluster has many excellences for example its construction is easy and flexible, low cost, its management is simple and eonvenient, etc. , it can satisfy the demand of computing power for the most users.
