The Structure and Magnetic Properties of Ho 2( Fe 1-x Co x ) 15 Al 2 Compounds

摘要 用电弧熔炼的方法制备了Ho2(Fe1-xCox)15Al2(x=0,0.2,0.4,0.6,0.7,0.8,0.9,1.0)化合物,用X射线衍射和磁性测量研究了它们的结构和磁性。实验结果表明所有样品都为单相217型Th2Ni17六角结构。随Co含量的增加,Ho2(Fe1-xCox)15Al2化合物的单胞体积V,晶格常数a、c线性下降;居里温度Tc单调上升;饱和磁化强度先升高后下降,在x=0.2时达到极大值。当x<0.6时,化合物均为面各向异性;当x≥0.6时,化合物在高温下出现自旋重取向现象,这可能与Co原子的择优占位有关。 The Ho 2( Fe 1-x Co x ) 15 Al 2( x =0,0.2,0.4,0.6,0.7,0.8,0.9,1.0)compounds were prepared by arc melting.The structure and magnetic properties have been studied by means of X ray diffraction and magnetization measurements.The experimental results show that all samples are single phase compounds with hexagonal Th 2Ni 17 type structure.It was found that the unit cell volume V and the lattice parameters a,c of Ho 2( Fe 1-x Co x ) 15 Al 2 compounds decreases, and the Curie temperature T c increases monotonically with increasing Co concentration.The saturation magnetization M s increases with x and then decreases,attaining maximum at x =0.2.At higher temperature,the magnetocrystalline anisotropy changes from easy planar anisotropy to easy axial one with increasing Co concentration,exhibits spin reorientation at x 0.6,which may be due to the preferential site occupation of Co atom.
