条脊牙甲科 （ Ｈｙｄｒｏｃｈｉｄａｅ） 仅两属， 我国仅报道一属二种， 即越南条脊牙甲 Ｈｙｄｒｏｃｈｕｓ ａｎｎａ ｍｉｔａ Ｒｅｇｉｍ ｂａｒｔ 和日本条脊牙甲 Ｈｙｄｒｏｃｈｕｓ ｊａｐｏｎｉｃｕｓ Ｓｈａｒｐ 。该文记述了一新种脊鞘条脊牙甲 Ｈｙｄｒｏｃｈｕｓ ｒｈｙｔｉｐｔｅｒｕｓ ｓｐ ． ｎｏｖ ． 和一新记录种瘤鞘条脊牙甲 Ｈｙｄｒｏｃｈｕｓ ｂｉｎｏｄｏｓｕｓ Ｍｏｔｓｃｈｕｌｓｋｙ 。
The present paper deals with species of Family Hydrochidae in China. One new species, Hydrochus rhytipterus sp.nov., is described. The species, Hydrochus binodosus Motschulsky, is newly recorded from China. Type specimens of the new species are deposited in Institute of Entomology, Zhongshan University. Hydrochus rhytipterus sp.nov. The new species resembles H. annamita Regimbart, but differs from the latter species in the 5th elytral interstice highly raised in posterior 1/3; the basal piece of aedeagus shorter than paramere; paramere slightly shorter than median lobe; paramere strong in basal 2/3 and narrowed in anterior 1/3, and median lobe expanded at about extreme 1/3 and sharp apically (Fig 4). Length 2 4 mm, width 1 mm. Holotype ♂,paratype ♂, Nanyue(Hengshan)Mountain, Hunan Province, Sept. 12, 1941, collected by Pu Zhelong.
