摘要
当前正处在以数字化、网络化为特征，信息技术飞速发展的高技术时代，这个时代的经济是以知识为基础的开拓进取型经济，使得今天的教育已不只是知识的传授和复制，必须加强创新意识、创造能力的培养。高等工科院校的数学教育，应该围绕培养学生创造能力这个课题，改革课堂教学方法，提高学生的数学素质；坚持数学建模教育，培养学生用数学解决实际问题的能力；开设数学实验课程，增强学生用计算机处理数学问题的能力。
World now is coming into the 21st century,while science and technology is developing with high speed.Economy has changed into knowledge economy.It is expounded what kind of quality the scientists and technicians in the 21st century should have;it is also explained why the maths teaching reform in college of engineering should centre on enhancement of students' innovation thinking and creativity.Some of practices and experiments in maths teaching innovation were enumerated. [
