摘要
"不"与"弗"是上古汉语常见的一对否定副词,二者间存在复杂的关系。前人对二字在语义上的区别曾有诸多阐述,但都存在一定的缺陷。结合甲骨文、金文及传世文献的相关资料来看,"弗"并非是兼摄了代词宾语的职能或等于"不+之",无论句中谓语动词是否带宾语,"弗"都只能解释为"不"。但"不"在语义上却比"弗"有更丰富的含义,此时"不"越来越成为一个承载量最大的否定副词,这也是它最终替代"弗"的主要原因。
The negative adverbs of Bu and Fu occur frequently in ancient Chinese and are complicatedly related. There have been controversies about the syntactical distinctions of the two in previous researches. Studies of some historical documents indicate that Fu is equivalent to Bu while Bu implies more profoundly. That is to say, Bu becomes more and more a negative adverb with the largest bearing capacities, which is major reason for replace of Fu with Bu.
