平顶山市发育的三条主要断裂在晚白垩世经历了向北东方向的逆冲推覆。背孜—鲁山断裂对煤田起破坏作用,对盐矿起控制作用;车村—下汤断裂对温泉起促进作用,控制萤石矿形成;二郎庙—黄土岭断裂促进金矿化,控制滑石矿生成。
The three major fractures developed in Pingdingshan City experienced northeastward thrust-nappe during the Late Cretaceous.Beizi-Lushan fracture broke the coal fields and controlled the formation of salt deposits.Checun-Xiatang fracture promoted the production of warm springs and dominated the occurrence of fluorite deposit.Erlangmiao-Huangtuling fracture accelerated the gold mineralization and commanded the formation of talc deposits.
