Alkaline rocks and alkalic rock related gold deposits have become a new researching topic on mineral deposit geology.Through correlation with the typical alkaline rocks and alkaline rock related gold deposits in the world,it is considerded that alkaline rock related gold deposits in Liaoning province are higher in mineralized rate than any other types of rocks, especially extrusive(intrusive) alkaline rocks. Dashigou,Nandaxian,Dongwujiazi,Changgao,Xianjinchang gold deposits are typical alkaline rock related gold deposits in Liaoning province. The former two are related with a caldera of the late stage of Early Cretaceous and with subvolcanic extrusive facies trachyte at the end of Early Cretaceous. The latter three are related with lamprophyre veins of Mesozoic. There are also some gold occurrences related with syenite and aegirinolith. Alkaline rock related gold deposits formed later than alkaline rocks in Liaoning province, mainly belonging to hypabyssal hydrothermal gold deposits with a vein shaped alteration type: gold bearing altered rock veins or gold bearing quartz veins. The major metallogenic element is gold, associated with silver and copper. The ore forming temperature is low to moderate. Grade of some gold occurrences is higher with a larger scale of mineralization, where there show placer and geochemical exploration anomalies nearby with favourable metallogenic conditions and optimistic prospects for searching for gold deposits.Even it is possible to outline important metallogenic targets. So it should be paid more attention to this kind of metallogenic prognostic province.
