Progress on proteomic analysis of Giardia Lamblia

摘要 蛋白质组是指一个基因组或一个细胞、组织表达的所有蛋白质。蛋白质组学研究细胞内所有蛋白质的组成及其活动规律,是在细胞整体水平上研究蛋白质的属性(表达水平、翻译后修饰和相互作用),它更能全面具体的反映研究对象的真实状态。近年来,蛋白质组学技术已广泛应用于寄生虫学的各个研究领域。蓝氏贾第鞭毛虫蛋白质组的研究,特别是对其生活史不同阶段蛋白质组的比较分析,不仅为进一步了解其生命活动规律的物质基础提供帮助,也为贾第虫病的致病机理及新药物靶点的探寻提供实验依据和解决途径。 Proteomics refers to all of the proteins expressed by a genome,cell,or tissue.Proteomics is the study of all of the proteins within cells,and particularly their composition and patterns of activity.Proteomics studies the properties of proteins at the cell level (e.g.level of expression,post-translational modification,interaction) since they better reflect the true state of proteins overall.In recent years,proteomics has been widely used in parasite research.The study of the Giardia lamblia proteome,and especially the comparative analysis of the Giardia proteome at different stages of Giardia's life cycle,help increase understanding of the physical basis for the patterns of life and also provide an empirical basis for the mechanisms of giardiasis and assist with the search for new drug targets.
