摘要
发展节水农业是促进我国北方地区国民经济持续稳定发展的战略选择。论述了节水农业的原理及技术体系，并着重就节水农业的生物学基础及生物学研究成果在节水农业中的应用前景进行了探讨，认为我国发展节水农业应采取综合技术途径，但生物节水技术是进一步实现节水增产的潜力所在。最后就我国当前节水农业的发展提出了建议。
Developing water saving agriculture is the strategical choice to promote sustainable and stable development of national economic in north China. The principle and technical system were expounded, the biological basis of water saving agriculture and its application perspective in water saving agriculture were emphatically discussed. Author pointed out comprehensive technical approach should be selected to develop water saving agriculture in China, but biological water saving technique would play bigger role in futhur. Finally,author presented the suggestion to develop water saving agricultrue in current.
