Objective:To study the total hip arthroplasty surgical lower limb length of the balanced approach and its clinical significance. Methods:A retrospective study in March 2007 ~ August 2009 underwent unilateral total hip replacement surgery,38 cases by preoperative limb length measurement and X-ray film measurements to plan operations,in order to balance the length of both lower extremities. Results:The patients were followed up from 3 to 24 months.Using Harris scoring,After such a long limb 30 patients an average of 90.6,postoperative limb length inequality in 8 patients an average of 89.4.Conclusion:Preoperative and intraoperative measurement of the application of comprehensive evaluation methods, emphasis on soft tissue balancing technology and lower limb length adjustment method is the key to improve the results.
