摘要
用两种硫含量分别为0.016%和0.005%的GCr15轴承铜,在3835、4305和4904Mpa三种接触应力条件下测定接触疲劳寿命。结果表明,当接触应力大时,“低硫钢”寿命高;应力小时,“高硫钢”寿命高。还发现硫化物和氧化物的大小及数量在两种不同硫含量钢中的分布存在互补关系,是造成上述现象的主要原因。
GCr15 bearing steels with two different sulfur contents, i.e. 0.016% and 0.005% were used to determine the rolling contact fatigue lives under three different magnitudes of contact stress, namely, 3835,4305 and 4904 Mpa. The results show that, when the contact stress is large,'low sulfur steel' has longer life; meanwhile, when small contact stress is used, the life of'high sulfur steel' becomes longer. It has also been found that the sulfides and oxides in the steel are complementary with respect to the amount and particle size of these inclusions. This complementary distribution of the sulfides and oxides is the principal cause of the above phenomena.
