摘要
商务英语作为特殊用途英语之一,成为我国外语教学的重要内容之一,不少高校还申报了商务英语本科专业。在商务英语的教学中运用案例教学法是适应商务英语教学特殊需求的有效尝试,能增加学生的框架、脚本、场景等认知图式的知识,提高他们的一般/普遍认知能力。通过从理论和实践上讨论案例教学法,以期为商务英语教学提供启示和参考。
Business English (BE), as a subfield of English for Specific Purposes (ESP), has been seen, in the past few years, in its rapid development in China. A number of universities offer a four-year bachelor' s degree for the business English program or the Business English Major in Chinese habitual wording. Basically, the Case Method is suggested to be an appropriate way for Business English teaching. It can increase students' knowledge about cognitive schema, such as frame, script, scenario, etc. and improve their general cognitive abilities. This thesis will provide a theoretical framework and a tentative teaching model for the method, hoping to promote the broader concern and the further study on Business English teaching.
