摘要
基于超声TOFD技术的检测原理,对检测盲区进行理论分析和计算,得到利用改变探头中心距PCS的方法减小盲区。试验应用超声TOFD检测系统检测了44 mm厚钢试块中的横通孔,给出试块的A扫描图像。试验结果验证了超声TOFD技术存在的检测盲区能够通过减小探头中心距的方法减小,从而提高该方法缺陷检出的能力。
Based on the detection principle of the ultrasonic TOFD (Time-of-flight-diffraction) technology, a method to reduce the blind zone was developed by changing the probe center spacing-PCS after theoretical analysis and calculation to the blind detection zone. The scanned image of Specimen A was given by the experiment that the horizontal hole in the 44 mm thick steel test block was detected by the ultrasonic TOFD inspection system. The experimental results proved that the ultrasonic TOFD technology could decrease the existence of the blind zone detection by the method of decreasing probe center spacing-PCS, thus to improve the ability of the method to detect defects.
