摘要
分析研究了我国17所高等院校英语语言文学专业的35篇硕士学位论文摘要,指出篇幅冗长、背景信息过多、重复以及内容抽象等是该专业硕士学位论文摘要中的常见问题。从教学管理、教学研究等方面分析了问题产生的原因,认为重视学位论文摘要写作规范的宣传、改进教材以及开展摘要的研究工作是解决问题的根本方法。
Based on the analysis of 35 abstracts from 17 colleges of the master’s theses by postgraduates majoring in English language and literature,we find out that lengthy of abstract contents,repetition of simi-lar ideas and excessive background information are the major problems demonstrated by these abstracts,which result from inadequate weight to researching and teaching of abstracts and the corresponding teaching administration.To solve the problem,it is essential to attach importance to publicity of rules for abstracts and abstracting,and to improve writing textbooks and the research of abstracts.
