摘要
全球化为世界各国城市发展的格局带来了全新的理念,以城市为核心的大都市区已经成为世界经济的主导区域,在全球竞争中占有举足轻重的地位。如何积极面对全球化趋势,提高大都市区治理的效果和效率,已经成为世界各国学者关注的重点。新区域主义就是在这样的背景下在欧美悄然形成的最新一波区域发展理论和实践,在过去二、三十年中已经成为区域研究的主导课题。论文将通过对国内外主流文献的综合评论,从历史沿革、理论兴起、实践发展等方面全面阐述新区域主义的发展和动向,并尝试分析我国一些区域政策实践与新区域主义的紧密联系。论文旨在总结已有的研究成果,推动本学科的学术对话,促进我国区域政策的发展。
Globalization has brought not only economic impact but also profound implications to urban development to every corner of the world. Metropolitan (City) regions have become the magnet of development in the global economy and competition. Facing todays global challenge,how to foster strong metropolitan regions has become a major urban policy issue. There have been several waves of regional theory and practice in different countries and new regionalism has been the latest development in the last two decades. This article will provide a comprehensive review of the subject of new regionalism,in terms of its historical evolution,theory formation,and policy development by synthesizing literature from various countries. With this review,the author wants to encourage more studies on this subject and help promote Chinas regional development.
