摘要
本文针对当前中国处于社会转型期的现状，通过调研发现当代人社会性格体系由八个因素构成，包括集体主义、独立性、依存性、忠信感、权势性、个人主义、支配性与安定感。并采用跨文化方式，将日韩、欧美的参照样本与当代中国人社会性格进行比较研究，发现性别、国别及其交互作用分别对于八个因素中的若干项目有显著性影响，体现出跨文化差异性。本研究结果对进一步深入研究当代人社会性格的现状、把握其发展轨迹以及成功塑造跨世纪中国人健康社会性格将具有积极的理论与实践意义。
By employing the cross-culture research approach, the authors compared the contemporary Chinese social character with those of the Japanese, SouthKoreans, Europeans and Americans. They found thatsome of the eight factors of collectivism, self- dependence, dependence, sense of loyalty, sense of authority, individualism, dominant trait and sense of securitycan be well influenced by sex, nationality and their interaction. The results are theoretically and practicallysignificant in making further study in this field.
