摘要
如果把《世说新语》与《三国志》、《晋书》等相关史书中的有关部分放在一起作比较,就会发现:《世说新语》的编者很少从之前史书中选取有关魏晋士族在政坛上角逐争战的事件,而是将对于这些角逐争战表示厌倦和疏离的精神取向作为自己编书的主要取向;而《晋书》的作者则双管齐下,既把那些军政大事作为主要线索,同时又大量吸收了《世说新语》中的遗闻故事;相反,那些接近史实的内容却在很大程度上为司马光的《资治通鉴》所吸收。从中可见不同时代的社会思潮对其著述材料撷取具有直接的制约作用。
This article makes a general comparison of several historical records of the Three Kingdoms, including New Anecdotes of Social Talk, History of the Three Kingdoms and History of Jin Dynasty to reveal different values of and criteria for the authors’ choice of historical events and exposes the constraints of the then social ideology on choice of historical events in compiling historical records.
