摘要
学术交流是高等院校运行、发展所必需的环境条件及因素。当前我国高等院校学术交流方面的研究主要集中在学术交流在高校的作用、如何推动与开展学术交流实践活动等方面,而对于构筑学术交流平台,有效推动与开展学术交流活动方面的研究较少。通过深入分析基于"机构典藏"平台的学术交流与传统学术交流在信息源、用户服务、对学术交流的影响等方面的区别,充分体现机构典藏在现代高等院校学术交流中的优势,为现代图书馆读者服务工作的发展方向及机构典藏在我国的推广和应用提供依据。
Academic exchange is a necessary condition and an important factor for the operation of colleges and universities. At present,the academic exchanges among the universities mainly focus on such aspects as the role of academic exchanges,and how to promote and develop the academic activities. While the researches for constructing the platform for academic exchanges,and how to effectively promote and develop the academic activities are neglected. By analyzing the differences between the institutional-repository-based academic exchange and traditional one in information source,user services and the influence to the academic exchange,the author lists the advantage of Institutional Repository,points out the developing direction of the user services of modern library,and provides evidences for the promotion and usage of institutional repository.
