摘要
基于小波变换提出了一种新的编码方法——自适应算术编码。该方法计算效率高并具有自适应性，其编码效率高于Ｈｕｆｍａｎ编码。
The paper presented a coding method based on Wavelet Transform. The method is highly efficient and self adaptable. The coding efficiency of this method is much higher than Huffman's.
