摘要
对于学习者的研究一直是二语习得研究领域的一个热点。目前大量学习者研究的变量主要涉及认知和情感两个领域,而对于二语习得中学习者学习风格的实证研究还比较少。本文利用Felder和Soloman开发的学习风格检测表探讨了学生学习风格的总体分布情况以及学习风格与英语水平、年级、性别、学习策略和专业的关系。文章最后提出了一些教学建议。
Much research has focused on the effect of individual differences on second language acquisition, in which cognitive and affective variables appear to be most frequently investigated. But relatively fewer researchers have exam- ined empirically the role of learning styles in second language acquisition. Using the Index of Learning Styles (ILS) developed by Felder and Soloman, this paper illustrates the general distribution of different learning styles among English learners, and explores learning styles in relation to English proficiency, grade, gender, learning strategy and major. It finally provides some pedagogical suggestions.
