基于MAX038任意波形发生器的设计与实现

摘要 以波形信号发生芯片MAX038为核心,采用现场可编程门陈列FPGA(Field Programmable GateArray)作为硬件控制载体,运用硬件描述语言VHDL(VHSIC Hardware Description Language)进行编程控制,设计了一种信号波形发生器,该信号波形发生器频率、幅值连续可调,在500Ω阻性负载时输出波形不失真.该系统输出波形具有较好的高频特性,分辨率高,并能通过液晶显示屏LCD(LiquidCrystal Display)显示输出波形的形状、幅度和频率值. A signal waveform generator is designed with the waveform generator chip MAX038 as the core. Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) is adopted as hardware carrier and VHSIC Hardware Description Language(VHDL) is used for programming. The frequency and scope of signal waveform can be continuously adjusted. When the load is 500 ohm, the waveform can avoid distortion. The system is charadterized by high frequency and high resolving power. The shape and frequency and scope of signal waveform can be displayed by LCD.
