摘要
本文通过对泰晤士河在伦敦城市规划中水利功能、运输功能、旅游娱乐功能、形象功能和自然生态保护功能的定位及其保证措施的分析，得出泰晤士河的功能定位具有注重河流自然规律，综合协调多种功能，密切结合城市总体规划，关注河流对城市可持续发展的作用，体现对人的全面关怀的特征。同时，结合我国的实际，探讨了泰晤士河的功能定位和保证措施对我国城市河流在城市规划中的借鉴意义。
Abstract On the basis of analysis the function of water conservancy, transportation,
recreation, image and nature conservation and their guarantee policyofRiver Thames , as well
as the relationships with the urban planning in the city of London, this paper studies some
characters of this river as thefollows: laying stress on the nature rules of river, co-ordinating
various function, combining with urban master plan, paying attention to thesustainable
development, taking care for the persons. Fmally, the authors convey some reference
significance in thoughts, methods and policysuggestion from River Thames to the function of
rivers in China.
