本文概括地描述了江苏沿江城市群发展特点，分析了城市群规模增大、结构优化、形态和功能演进的主要制约因素。
The article describes the current commercial and social development situation ofJiangsu cities complex along Yangtse Rivers, Reveals the development characteristics by comparing with other domestic cities complex. On this basis, the article analyses the main restricting elements to city development, structural high-quality, formula formation and function evoloved, and proposes that it's lmportant and pressing to creat the sustainable development ability and conditions. The article mentions that the cities complex developing should be based on the target of equitable、concord、constinuous and efficient development, coordinating the relation between city and city, city and countryside, inter-regions and outer-regions.
