美国建筑师Ｄ·Ｒ·郝莱威于７０ 年代设计的欧罗波罗斯住宅成为当时美国研究环境问题的一个设计典范。该住宅为人们留下的不是新奇的外观或巧妙的构思，而是贯穿其间的生态观念，它启发着人们对建筑问题的重新思考。
Ouroboros House designed by American architect Dennis R.Holloway in 1970's is a master design which well responds to the environment. What impresses people deeply in the design is not the new form or the methods but the ecological notion included in this design which has made people reconsider architectural problems.
