Mrs. Dalloway and The Waves, two of Virginia Woolf’s major novels, demonstrate that her fictions are full of poetic flavors which is derived from aesthetics of poetry, Woolf’s feminist stance as well as changing of the times. Devoted herself to poeticizing her novels, Woolf mingles many aesthetic features in her fiction, such as poetic perspective, lyrics, symbols, music and painting, which is her unique contribution to the art of modern fiction.
