摘要
"当代中式"在建筑上的探索已经相对成熟,上海世博中国园的创作是"当代中式"景观设计的一次有益尝试。项目中的山石景观、水体景观、植物配置等运用"当代中式"的设计手法,遵循"虽由人作,宛自天开"的原则,从中国古典园林精华和大自然中抽象出可以应用到现代景观设计中的简洁语言符号,创作出属于当代的中式景观。在几十亩的园中有9个以亩为单位的"亩中山水"系列园林,包括以传统中国叠石手法结合现代设计元素,塑造出硬景观与软景观;把传统繁琐的水体景观用现代的简洁艺术语言进行抽象、提炼,创作出富有现代气息的节水型园林景观;把传统封闭的私家园林变成开放的现代参与性开敞空间。
Development and design practices must be harmonized with tradition in order for cities to retain their cultural integrity in the current age of globalization. The proper balancing of traditional values and modern needs is the core challenge facing landscape design. The evolution of the classical garden is deeply rooted in the history of China. Traversing the park is like a walk through time： the culture and history of China are evident in every aspect of the park but its design is truly modern. During the 2010 Shanghai World Expo and beyond, the Chinese Garden Park will showcase China’s invaluable culture for visitors and international design professionals. The traditionally enclosed garden is opened to the public, allowing all to experience the beauty and allure of the Chinese garden.
