摘要
美国高校手语翻译专业已经有了30多年的历史,现有130多所大学开设手语翻译专业。我国高校手语翻译专业才刚刚起步,为了学习美国高校手语翻译专业发展经验,加快我国高校手语翻译专业发展的步伐,受国际聋人高等教育网络组织"PEN"项目的邀请与资助,2007年4月,笔者随中国聋人高等教育代表团赴美接受了为期一周的培训。本文通过对培训内容的整理与分析,借鉴美国大学手语翻译专业发展的基本经验,为我国高校发展手语翻译专业发展提供参考依据。
Sign language translation major has a history of more than 30 years in American universities and 130 American universities have this curriculum.However,this major in China just begins.In order to study the experience of America and accelerate the development of sign language translation major in China,the author joined the ＂PEN＂ project,went to America and took training for a week.This paper introduces the experience of developing sign language translation major in America and offers some references and suggestions for the development of this major in China.
