摘要
铁瓮城在三国孙吴都城中建立年代最早,保存最为完整,由孙权始建于东汉建安年间。1991~2006年进行的多次考古发掘中,发现了依山而建的城垣、城门、道路等遗迹,出土了种类繁多的文字砖、纹饰砖、瓦、陶器、青瓷器、金属器以及钱币等遗物,涉及孙吴、东晋、南朝等多个时代。
The Tieweng Cheng (Iron Vat City) located at Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province was originally built by Sun Quan during Jian' an Era of the Eastern Han Dynasty. From 1991 through 2006, many terms of excavations have been conducted to the site of this city, by which the remains of walls, gates and paths built along the terrain and the artifacts such as bricks impressed with scripts and deco- rative patterns, tiles, pottery and celadon wares, metal objects, coins and so on are recovered. The dates of these remains and artifacts covered the long period from Wu Kingdom of the Three-Kingdoms Period, the Eastern Jin Dynasty to the Southern Dynasties. This city is the earliest and best preserved one in the capital cities built by the Wu Kingdom with rich cultural connotations and historic significance.
