摘要
本文主要讨论的问题有:汉语中专门用在动词前的"给";"给VP"中"给"的句法语义作用;"给VP"中的VP(动词或动词词组)的句法语义特点;"给VP"结构的句法地位及相关动词结构的衍生关系。本文的结论对于建立汉语"致使(CAUSE)"动词系统及作格结构、中动结构和致使结构之间的衍生机制将提供新的观察角度和研究思路。
This paper investigates the construction 'gei VP'('给VP')and discusses several related issues such as the reasons why gei can be added to a VP,and as the semantic functions that gei has.It proposes that 'gei VP' contains a semantic component 'external force' and the nature of the external force is determined by the type of verb to which gei is added.When it is added to a V1-V2 combination in which V1 is not a lexical unaccusative,the external force is a cause(r).In the case that a lexical unaccusative verb is involved,the external force is more circumstantial.
