摘要
民主社会中总有宗教、哲学和道德等诸种学说,且这些学说观点不尽一致,甚至相互对峙、相互冲突、相互斗争。因而,为了寻求社会的稳定与和谐发展,就必须寻找这些学说的"共识",即罗尔斯的"重叠共识"。"重叠共识"有利于社会的稳定、和谐与繁荣发展。当前,对于马克思中国化而言,形成某种"重叠共识"就迫切需要。可以说,马克思主义中国化就是中国"重叠共识"的理性选择,马克思主义时代化就是中国"重叠共识"的时代要求,马克思主义大众化就是中国"重叠共识"的群众基础。马克思主义中国化、时代化、大众化使中华民族不仅取得了新民主主义革命的胜利,取得了改革开放的巨大成就,而且仍将是中华民族实现伟大复兴的有力武器。
In a democratic society, there are a variety of doctrines concerning religion, philosophy and ethics, and they are usually in competition or even contradiction with each other. Thus, the consensus between them is indispensible to a society＇s stability and harmonious development, and this is what Rawls meant by ＂overlapping consensus＂, which is conducive to social stability, harmony and prosperity. At present, it is highly urgent to arrive at an overlapping consensus, as far as adapting Marxism to Chinese conditions is concerned. China＇s efforts to achieve overlapping consensus, it is safe to say, have well been embodied in its endeavors to adapt Marxism to Chinese conditions, to give Marxism distinct characteristics of the times, and to take Marxism to the general public. All this does not only enable China to accomplish its victory in the new-democratic revolution and the great achievements in its reform and opening-up, but also provides China with powerful weapons to realize national rejuvenation.
