西双版纳现有印支虎10~14头,与80年代资料相比,数量已减少2/3以上.且多数跨国界分布.如果情况继续恶化,印支虎将有可能从西双版纳消失.
In Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province of China.only 10-14 Indo-Chinese tigers were found in a recent survey,a populalion decline of 60% since the 1980s.These individuals are living in areas along the China-Laos and China-Burma borders-lf the situation worsens in this region.it is quite possible that Indo-Chinese tigers will disappear completely from Xishuangbanna in the near future.
