摘要
庐山慧远与鸠摩罗什之间的理论论争是中国佛教思想史上一个极为重大的事件,它反映了东晋末年以庐山慧远为代表的中国佛教学者对当时流行的般若性空学说的深刻反思,为晋宋之际中国佛学思潮从大乘般若学向大乘涅槃学的重大转向起到了思想铺垫作用,在中国佛教思想发展史上具有里程碑式的重要意义。
The doctrinal debate between Hui Yuan of Lu Shan and Kumārajīva was an extremely important event in the history of Buddhist thought,however,its significance has not been sufficiently revealed in the academic circles.This paper is of this opinion： The doctrinal debate between Hui Yuan and Kumārajīva revealed a profound refection of Chinese Buddhist scholars represented by Hui Yuan on the then popular prajā-＇sūnyatā philosophy since the end of East Jin Dynasty,which paved the way for the great diversion of Chinese Buddhist thought from the Mahāyānaprajāpāramitā philosophy to Mahāyāna-nirvāna philosophy,and was of milestone importance in the history of evolution of the Chinese Buddhist thought.
