摘要
本文就CATV网向宽带全业务网升级的策略和技术进行了讨论。首先要将现有CATV网改造为双向传输网。在此基础上,建成CATV广播网和计算机网并行的网络。在计算机网中,应用cablemodem实现数据双向传输,或在CATV网中应用暂时富裕的光纤构成独立计算机网。应用TCP/IP协议达到CATV网升级为全业务接入网。随着宽带业务的增加,应用星型结构及波分复用和光纤放大器,再将CATV视频、数据网升级为宽带全业务(视频、数据和语音)接入网。
This paper mainly discusses the tactics and the key
technologies of evolution-friendly upgrade of CATV networks to a broadband full services
access network. The author proposes that the first step of such process is to change nowadays
CATV networks into bi-directional transport networks. On this basis, the network combined with
data and video should be built, and this will provide both CATV and computer networks. In a
computer network, the bi-directional transportation of data could be realized by using cable
modem, on the other hand, a separate computer network could be found by using the free fibers.
During the upgrade, the TCP/IP protocol must be used. With the increase of broadband full
services, using star and WDM or OFA, CATV networks with data and video services could be
upgraded to a broadband full services access network.
