摘要
以六水氯化镁、硼酸、氢氧化钠和氯化钠为原料,采用高温助熔剂工艺制备了新型复合材料增强剂——硼酸镁晶须。系统研究了马弗炉炉丝缠绕方式、匣钵形状及尺寸、匣钵材质——石英、黏土、刚玉以及莫来石等对晶须组成和形貌的影响。应用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)对产品进行了表征。结果表明:在同样的温控程序下,矩形石英匣钵体积为3 500 mL、马弗炉炉丝采用内穿丝缠绕方式时制备的晶须为单一相三斜结构硼酸镁,且形貌均匀,无团聚,研究结果将为硼酸镁晶须的进一步发展提供技术依据。
As a new kind of composite reinforced agent,magnesium borate(Mg2B2O5) whisker was synthesized via high temperature flux method using magnesium chloride hexahydrate,boric acid,sodium hydroxide,and sodium chloride as raw materials.Effects of furnace wire winding way of muffle furnace,size,shape,and materials(such as quartz,clay,corundum,and porzite of seggars) on composition and morphology of magnesium borate whisker were studied systematically.Product was characterized by XRD and SEM.Results showed that with the same temperature controlling progress,rectangle quartz seggar with volume of 3 500 mL and inward winding method of muffle were the suitable calcination conditions.Under those conditions,magnesium borate with single triclinic whiskers,uniform morphology,and no aggregation was prepared.Research results provided the technical basis for further development of magnesium borate whisker.
