摘要
本文分析了1986-1987年ENSO事件发展期间热带太平洋海面温度场的时空分布和变化特征,并与1982-1983年ENSO 事件期间的情况作了比较。结果表明,这两次事件的强度、发生时间和地点虽有差别,但是海面温度场的空间分布和主要演变过程基本相似。特别是在ENSO事件达到盛期之前,都有正的海温距平自赤道西太平洋向东传播,且强度加强,到赤道东太平洋和南美洲西侧海域后与海温正距平结合,从而达到ENSO事件盛期。而1986-1987事件前1-2年,西太平洋沿赤道东传的是海温负距平。它可能是造成1986-1987和1982-1983事件强度差异的原因之一。赤道西太平洋的海温距平来自赤道外热带西北太平洋。
Characteristics of Sea Surface temperature(SST)fields and its temporal, spacial distributions in Tropical Pacific during 1986-1987 ENSO event have been analysed and compared to those duiing 1982-1983 ENSO event. It showed that the spacial distribution and evolution of SST fields for those events were basically similar and there were positive SST anomalie propagating eastward along the Equator from western Equatorial Pacific prior to the peak phase of ENSO event. However, the east migration of SST anomalies along the Equator from western Equatorial Pacific was negative one to two years prior to 1986-1987 ENSO event. The SST anomalies in west Equatorial Pacific came from off-equatorial western Tropical Pacific.
