摘要
西双版纳的热带雨林是分布在热带北缘水热和海拔高度极限条件下的森林类型,具有典型热带雨林的结构和群落特征,但在种类组成上又有向南亚热带森林过渡的特点,与赤道潮湿雨林有所区别。该地区的热带雨林季相变化和地形分化明显,区分为热带季节雨林和山地雨林两种类型。
The tropical rain forest vegetation in Xishuangbanna region, Yunnan Province of China is introduced in this paper. In comparison with main areas of tropical rain forests in the world, this region is in a little insufficiency of annual quantity of heat and precipitation because of its relatively high latitude and elevation. To the northwest of the region there are high mountains which are barriers of the cold air from north in winter and in most of the region there are dense fog compensating precipitation in dry season, therefore tropical rain forests are still existent in the area below 900m elevation of the region. The tropical rain forests in the area have the same community structure as lowland rain forests in S. E. Asia but in its flora there have the conspicuous characters of transition from tropic to subtropic, and so the tropical rain forests are of the northern edge kinds of the tropical rain forests in S. E. Asia.In recent years, the area has been opened up to use in a large scale and the primary forests have been severely destroyed, so the tropical rain forest vegetation has the tendency of extinction. Now the conservation and research of the forests have to be done.
