"人肉搜索"是近年来在网上使用频率高的新词语,其基本意义指网络上利用人工进行信息搜索的行为,早期在使用时一般带有贬义的感情色彩,且搜索对象往往是假恶丑的,但现在也可用于搜索真善美的好人好事。"人肉"最初仅指"人的肉",但今天已经具备了7种意义,各种意义往往通过隐喻或转喻互相有关联。"人肉搜索"产生的原因一方面是由于"人肉"本身语义内涵更丰富,另一方面也符合新人类们标新立异的心理需求。
