摘要
随着传感器网络研究的不断深入,构建一个能胜任大规模传感器网络具体应用与研究需求的模拟平台具有十分重要的意义。设计了一种适合大规模传感器网络的、具有良好可扩展性的模拟系统VWSN(Virtual Wireless Sensor Networks)。基于不同的虚拟节点模式,VWSN在满足一定模拟精度的同时能有效地节省内存开销;并且通过干扰正方形能快速筛选出需要进行干扰计算的节点子集,将通信干扰计算复杂度从O(N2)降低到近似于线性,从而很大程度上降低了计算开销。分析与实验结果表明,在保持算法模拟准确性的基础上,VWSN降低了内存占用率,缩短了系统模拟时间,从而为大规模传感器网络中的协议与算法实现提供了行之有效的测试与评估手段。
With the increasing research of wireless sensor networks,it is very important to develop a simulation system adaptive to various applications and research requirements for large scale wireless sensor networks. In this paper,a scalable simulation system VWSN (Virtual Wireless Sensor Network) is proposed which designed for large scale wireless sensor networks. Based on different virtual node modes,VWSN can diminish memory usage while maintaining quite simulation precision,and lower the interference computation complexity from O(N2) to O(N) by employing filtering square to obtain the interfered nodes set quickly,which reduce the simulation computation overhead significantly. Analysis and simulation results show that VWSN is able to decrease the memory consumption and simulation time in the presence of simulation precision. Therefore,VWSN is competent to provide efficient testing and evaluation methods for network protocols or algorithms implementations in large scale wireless sensor networks.
