摘要
中西方古典园林在世界园林史上都是具有代表性的园林,它们的艺术风格既有共性,又有差异。由于中西方对自然的认知不同、造园思想的差异、中西方文化的差异、审美情趣、造园方法的不同等因素的影响,造成了中西方园林在园林类型、园林规模、园林与建筑的关系、造园艺术与美学风格方面的巨大差异。文章对中西方园林的艺术风格进行了对比分析,并指出了造成其风格差异的主要原因。找出其共性和差异,以便对现代的造园活动提供借鉴,并对传统造园艺术的继承和发展有所帮助。
Chinese and Western classical gardens are the gems of the history of world gardens and there are points of similarities as well as differences in terms of artistic styles.Because of the distinct recognition of nature,different concepts and methods about gardening and dissimilar aesthetic taste and cultural background,the classical gardens in China and those in the western world vary greatly in their types,scales,garden art,aesthetic styles and their relationships with architecture.The paper makes comparison and contrast of the artistic styles between Chinese and Western classical gardens in order to find out the main causes of generality and particularity to favor modern gardening practices and to further inherit and promote the traditional garden art.
