The Mn 1s NEXAFS spectrum of the alloy Fe Mn Al Cr has been detected by synchrotron radiation X ray at BEPC National Laboratory.The multiple scattering cluster(MSC)theory analyses show that the Mn and Fe atoms in the alloy exist as bcc and fcc microcrystals respectively.The coupling between them makes the alloy to be a stable austenite steel.
