摘要
《鼓书艺人》是一部老舍为数不多的、刻画女性主角形象的长篇小说力作。《鼓书艺人》深入细致地刻画了秀莲的性心理和性欲望,展现了一个旧艺人少女的苦闷、压抑与抗争的生命情感世界。秀莲渐渐从盲目的欲望之流冲撞中走向平静与成熟。小说结尾给予读者一种新的生活的期待,显现了老舍在1950年代生活观、女性观、爱情观等方面的审美心理嬗变。
Lao she ′s The Drum Book Artist,one of the few novels with the image of a woman as its protagonist,vividly and deeply portrays Xiulian′s sexual psychology and sexual desire,demonstrating the depression,repression and resistance of the emotional world of life of a maid as an artist in the old society.Gradually,her life goes from the collision with the blind flow of her desires to tranquility and mature.The dénouement of the novel offers the readership a kind of new expectancy,showing Lao She′s esthetic evolution of outlook on life,and view of women and love during the 1950s.
