摘要
20世纪初,陈嘉庚接受并追随了孙中山的革命理论,政治生涯与社会公益活动从此深受三民主义的影响。陈嘉庚对孙中山的崇敬之情并不因孙中山的逝世而消散,反而不断得到升华。从林文庆就任厦大校长与集美学村名称由来两个事件上可知,陈嘉庚与孙中山虽然未有深厚私交,但是他们的友谊建立在对民族大义的关怀上,显得尤为珍贵。
In the early twentieth century,Tan Kah-kee accepted and followed Sun Yat-sen and his revolutionary theory.Since then,Tan Kah-kee＇s political career and social welfare activities were deeply influenced by Three Principles of the People.Tan Kah-kee＇s reverence toward Sun Yat-sen was sublimated after Sun died.Though Tan did not have a deep personal friendship with Sun Yat-sen,their friendship was especially precious because it was based on their common concern about their country and people,which can be well reflected from the two events： Lin Wenqing＇s serve as president of Xiamen University and the origin of Jimei School.
