当今恐龙研究三大热点之我见

Our Views on Three Hot Points of Researches on Dinosaur

摘要 根据近年来对辽宁义县晚侏罗—早白垩世恐龙和鸟类化石及河南西峡晚白垩世恐龙蛋化石的初步研究,就目前世界恐龙研究前沿领域涉及的三大热点问题—提取DNA,温血还是冷血及是龙还是鸟的争议情况和研究现状提出一些粗浅的看法。 Based on the research on the fossile involved Late Jurassic-Early Cretaceous dinosaurs and birds from Yixian(Liaoning Province),our views are that:(1)This is a long way to reconstruct dinosaur from their DNA ingestd by insects and preserved, along with the insects, in amber or by nonlithified dinosaur eggs etc. We dont even know if dinosaur DNA exists under such circumstances though dozens million years. Maybe it is within sight and attainable that DNA ingested by mammoths from pleistocene frozen soil in arctic or by wildlife near extinction.(2)Dinosaurs were so divergent that some of them evolved to endotherm, at least included hairy Compsogathus/Sinosauropterryx, broody Oviraptor and thickskin Psittacosaurrus etc.(3)Late Jurassic Archaeopteryx and Confuciusornis etc. were rather advanced birds, possessed relatively perfect plamage and wings, while Sinosauropteryx was not a bird. An avian ancestor should be a little carnivorous animal from earlier on Late Jurassic, according to Biogenetic Law, and appeared to dermal thickenings or epidermal clinders or down feathers on the skin, while radiuses, ulnas and carpometacarpals of the fore limbs tended to elongate.
