用图象分析仪测定聚烯烃中云母聚集体数均粒径的结果表明,乙烯等离子体处理云母提高其在聚烯烃中的分散性;强化处理条件有利于云母在LDPE中分散,而对HDPE则不然;云母在PS中的分散性优于在HDPE和LDPE中。
The state of dispersion of mica in either high density or low density polyethylene (HDPE, LDPE)and polystyrene (PS) matrixes was determined quantitatively through image analysis. The mica used had been treated by ethylene plasma of radio frequency (RF) . The results show the average diameter of the treated mica aggregates in polyolefine could be reduced by 10-13% in case the mica in the filled polyolefine is 10% by weight. The decre-ace is much pronounced when the mica content becomes higher. The dispersion of mica in LDPE is favoured by increasing RF output of the plasma treatment, while in HDPE it is not so. The dispersion in PS is better than that in both HDPE and LDPE. For same kind of polymer, the dispersion is better in one of lower melt viscosity.
