摘要
本文通过总结实验现象和结果,对α-甲基苯乙烯(α-MS)/Cl_2/TiCl_4/CH_2Cl_2体系的阳离子聚合机理进行了初步探讨。分析表明,Cl_2和TiCl_4分别是引发剂和助引发剂,Cl是引发活性种;聚合过程中几乎不发生向单体链转移反应,自由离子和离子对两种形态均参与了聚合反应。
The concerning experimental phenomena and results of the cationic polymerization of α-methylstyrene with the Cl2/TiCl4 initiator system are summarized.A primary discussion on its mechanism is carried on. Itindicated Cl2 and TiCl4 are initiator and coinitiator respectively, and Cl(?)is the true initiating species in this system. There is almost no chain transfer reaction to monomer. Experimental data indicate that both the free cation and ion pair take part in polymerization reaction.
