Abstract Air leakage affects both boiler efficiency and the equipment's sefety significontly. The paper points out the damages incurred by the equipment due to air leakage, analizes its effect on boiler efficiency, enumerates the locations, where air leakage may often be detected and proposes remedies for eliminating leakage.
