摘要
以《说文解字》、《汉语大字典》所收录的以"圭"为母文的70个族字为分析对象,依据母文表意将这些字分为7个意义组,分别是:具有"上圆下方、上尖下方"义;与"土地"相关义;"高、大"义;"深、洼、空"义;与"玉"相关义;"美、好"义;"不好、不正"义。并论析这些族字在词义引申推动下分化孳乳的规律,以及母文"圭"和以"圭"为母文的族字之间的层次关系,从而为古今探求同族字的目的提供旁证。
Taking a clan of seventy characters of＂gui＂ included in ShuowenJiezi and The Chinese Dictionary as the analysis objects, based on the significance of etyma, the characters are divided into seven meaning groups： meaning of＂circle above and square below＂ and ＂sharp above and square below＂; meaning related to ＂land＂; meaning of ＂high and big＂; meaning of ＂deep, low-lying and hollow＂; meaning related to ＂jade＂; meaning of＂beautiful and fine＂; meaning of＂evil and dishonest＂. Meanwhile, the paper analyzes the rule that these characters follow in their differentiation promoted by the extension of the meaning of words and the hierarchical relationships of etyma ＂gui＂ and its characters family. Therefore, it provides timeless references for probing the purposes of the same clan of characters.
